Delaware Fire Department Comedy Benefit this Friday

Make plans now to attend the Delaware Fire Department Comedy Benefit Friday, March 12th at the Delaware County Pavilion.
Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30 and tickets are $10 each.
This is an ADULTS only show and there will be four comedians performing: Jason Moffitt, Travis Hempstead, Andre Theobold, & Tom Sharpe.

Tickets are available and can be purchased from any Delaware Fireman or by calling 563-213-2293 or available at the door.

The comedy show proceeds will be put towards a matching grant. The Delaware Fire Deptartment recently received a grant from FEMA for new SCBA gear (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). The units are used for keeping our fireman safe and helping better attack a fire whether interior or exterior. So ultimately this helps better protect our community when the unfortunate happens. Upon being awarded the grant we need to contribute an amount of around $3800 for partial match on the grant. The comedy show proceeds will go to helping pay this amount. Like any fundraiser all money goes directly to benefit our community and safety of our firemen, either by updated equipment, or new equipment needed.

The Delaware Fire Deptartment currently has about 28 members between FIRE and EMS and we glad to accept any new applications of people who are interested. It takes many hard working volunteers to run a good department.
