Manchester Chamber of Commerce Elects New Officers

The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce elected officers for 2010 and announced four new Board Members at the January monthly meeting. Retiring President Teresa Turnis (F&M Iowa Realty) will step into the Past President’s position, Susan Broghammer (Sue’s Flowers and Garden Center) will assume the position of President, Lacey Carroll (Gritton Associates) will take on the Vice-President position and Jason Tuel (Citizens State Bank) ) will serve as Treasurer. Newly elected members of the 12 member Board of Directors will be Jana Ungs (X-L Specialized Trailers), Marty Simon (Simon Grain and Feed), Eric McKenna (Wal-Mart) and Leann Miller (Good Neighbor Society).

The elected officers were elected to one-year terms while the Board of Directors serve three year terms. Retiring Board Members Julie Smith (State Farm Insurance), Scott Funke (Farm Credit Services) and David Nilles (Dairy Queen) and Past President Judy Gudenkauf (Farmer Member) received plaques of appreciation and thanks from President Broghammer for their service to the Chamber and the community.
