Celebrate
the 4th of July in Monticello

Monticello is gearing up for their annual 4th of July celebration
tomorrow, Friday.
The event will include:
6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monticello Firemen's Breakfast in the Berndes
Center at the fairgrounds.
11:00 a.m. Parade (Rain or Shine). Parade theme is "CELEBRATING OUR
PROGRESS INTO THE FUTURE "
After the Parade - Children's Games at the fairgrounds.
Noon until Dark - Food served by the Monticello Eagles at the
fairgrounds.
1:00 p.m. - T.T.T. Society Kids Fun Run.
1:00 p.m. - Bingo at the fairgrounds sponsored by the Monticello Eagles.
2:00 p.m. - Bill Riley Talent Contest in the Berndes Center.
2:30 p.m. - Kiddie Tractor Pull sponsored by the Monticello Eagles at
the fairgrounds.
4:00 p.m. - Trivia Contest in the Berndes Center sponsored by the
Monticello Park Board.
NEW this year...."Water Balloon War". Huge sling shots will be made to
launch balloons in the afternoon. Sponsored by the Monticello Eagles.
Dark - Fabulous Fireworks!
